1. About us

NorthStar is provided by Fabio Domenico Cuttaia, Italian tax code CTTFDM94P23E573A (“NorthStar”, “we”). By using the service, you accept these Terms.

2. The service

NorthStar is a personal-finance planning tool for budgeting, net worth, investments, mortgage and goals. It is educational software and does not provide personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Simulations rely on assumptions and user-supplied data and do not guarantee future results.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and the security of your credentials.

4. Free plan and Premium

NorthStar includes free core features and an optional Premium subscription at €3.50 per month or €28 per year. A 7-day free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers.

• Billing: subscriptions renew automatically monthly or annually until cancelled. After a free trial, the first charge occurs when the trial ends unless cancelled earlier.
• Payment channel: web payments are processed by Stripe. Store purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Access normally remains available until the end of the paid period. Partial refunds are not automatic except where required by law.
• EU withdrawal rights: consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right, subject to applicable exceptions for digital content supplied immediately with consent.
• Price changes: changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect periods already paid.

5. Personal data

Personal-data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Affiliate links

NorthStar may contain links to third-party financial services. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Partners do not gain access to financial data entered in NorthStar, and commercial relationships do not influence calculations or app behaviour.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NorthStar is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation and are not responsible for financial decisions made solely from app information.

8. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend access for fraud, abuse or material breaches. If the service is permanently discontinued, reasonable advance notice will be provided and future subscription charges will stop.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Maltese law. Consumer jurisdiction rights remain unaffected.
