1. What we use
NorthStar does not use advertising or profiling cookies. It uses browser storage and similar technologies required for the web app to work.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
- App local storage: stores budget, net worth, goals and preferences locally.
- Account session storage: Supabase Auth stores a protected session token when you sign in.
- Service worker and app cache: support offline use and safe updates.
These are necessary to provide the service requested by you and do not require optional consent.
3. Optional technologies
- Sentry error monitoring: helps diagnose technical faults. It may receive an error identifier and account ID/email, but never financial data. You may disable it in privacy settings.
4. Managing choices
You can change optional privacy choices from the app's Privacy settings.
5. Third parties
Google Fonts and Google sign-in may connect to Google services under Google's privacy policy.
